Capital&Centric's Goods Yard ready to welcome first residents
Social impact investor, developer, and operator Capital&Centric, the team behind Stoke-on-Trent's Goods Yard neighbourhood, has released first-glimpse images inside its 174- apartment community as it prepares to welcome residents from June.
The images showcase the range of one, two and three-bedroom homes at the city’s biggest regeneration project. Each apartment incorporates exposed concrete finishes and floor-to-ceiling windows, complemented by high-quality, sustainable Scandi pieces from HAY furniture. Residents will also have access to exclusive amenities including a gym and fitness studio, mini cinema, co-working space, resident lounge, and private dining.
Capital&Centric is hosting a not-to-be-missed open day on Saturday 24th May. Prospective residents will get an exclusive sneak peek around the new neighbourhood and inside the new homes. With the Goods Yard destination already creating a buzz across the city, people are being encouraged to arrive at 10am to secure first dibs on a new apartment before they all get snapped up.
Set to be managed by Capital&Centric's rental company Ollo, the on-site team will create a real community, bringing people together through regular social events. The dedicated Ollo app provides the total package where residents can chat to neighbours, sign up to socials, nab exclusive resident discounts and report maintenance issues. Designed to make people’s day-to-day life a little easier the Ollo team will offer a raft of services from cleaning to pet sitting.
At the heart of the community lies a new public square, where winding pathways weave through lush landscaping, extensive planting and trees, creating perfect spots to meet and relax. The canal jetty is being overhauled into a waterside green spot, with outdoor seating for canalside drinks and dining while a new direct, much improved walkway will bring the Goods Yard square within a 60-second walk of the neighbouring Stoke-on-Trent Railway Station.
Working in partnership with Stoke-on-Trent Council, this £63 million regeneration project is set to create hundreds of local jobs and drive the city's ongoing renaissance.
Tom Wilmot, Joint Managing Director at Capital&Centric, said:
