Farnworth Green Nearly Fully Let in Just 10 Weeks
Capital&Centric has announced that almost all of the homes at its flagship Farnworth Green neighbourhood have been snapped up within just 10 weeks of launching - a huge milestone for the bold reboot of the town centre.
The developer’s game-changing project has seen an incredible response, with nearly all 97 rental homes - a mix of stylish townhouses and apartments - let to new residents eager to be part of the town’s transformation.
With just a handful of apartments still available, Farnworth Green has captured the attention of renters who want to be part of a community-focused neighbourhood with big ambitions. There’s bee
Tom Wilmot, Joint Managing Director at Capital&Centric, said:
“The level of demand we’ve seen at Farnworth Green has blown us away. To have almost all the homes let within 10 weeks is a massive endorsement of what we’re doing here. We’ve seen particular success from key workers, including a large proportion of international doctors and nurses working locally within the community.
“Farnworth Green isn’t just about new homes - it’s about bringing life back to the heart of Farnworth with great places to live, work and hang out. We’re being picky about who we let the commercial spaces to - we don’t want to fill it with vape shops and barbers. We’re focused on creating a buzzing, independent scene with businesses that bring something special to the neighbourhood.”
The homes at Farnworth Green include 85 slick apartments and 12 spacious townhouses, designed to blend the best of city living with suburban calm. As the first homes delivered under Capital&Centric’s ‘Neighbourhood’ brand, they also mark Bolton’s first ever operationally net zero homes, cutting bills and carbon at the same time.
Works are currently underway to create a residents’ gym, a mini cini, lounge and co-working hub. Residents can already enjoy shared spaces like a rooftop garden, lounge and co-working hubs, while the leafy new public square outside plays host to pop-ups and foodie events.

The transformation of Farnworth Green is also opening doors for local businesses, with flexible spaces still up for grabs around the public square. Expressions of interest are open for independent bars, coffee shops, stores and more, bringing even more buzz to the growing community.
