From four wheels to four walls: Hustle opens its first coffee house at Weir Mill

October 15, 2026

Hustle brings specialty coffee, sweet treats and plenty of energy to Stockport's newest neighbourhood.

Hustle is taking up residency at Weir Mill, with a new coffee kiosk within the residents’ space at Capital&Centric’s historic mill neighbourhood.

Known for serving specialty coffee from its trusty little '05 Suzuki Carry van, Hustle is shifting gears from four wheels to four walls and launching its first coffee house while also keeping the van firmly on the road.

The new kiosk sits right at the heart of Weir Mill, welcoming residents, neighbours and anyone passing through. More than just a spot for a caffeine fix, Hustle is creating the kind of place that makes a neighbourhood feel lived in, somewhere to bring a book, meet a pal, or take five over a tasty brew and something sweet.

And with Weir Mill's community growing, Hustle will be getting stuck in with the locals too, hosting events, bringing people together and fuelling everything from early mornings to big ideas. Because those big ideas don't run on empty.

Hustle at Weir Mill by Capital&Centric

Anthony Powell, Head of Commercial, at Capital&Centric, said:

"Hustle is exactly the sort of indie we want at Weir Mill. Already part of Stockport, the team has built up a local following and now they’re bringing that energy into the neighbourhood. We’ve always wanted Weir Mill to be much more than homes, we’re creating somewhere that feels alive throughout the day, with brilliant independents giving residents and the wider Stockport community reasons to come down, hang out and keep coming back. With Hustle joining Rita Rays, Bodega and Kontrol, that’s now becoming a reality."

Fiona & Mark, Founders of Hustle, said:

"Hustle started with a desire to fuel big ideas and respond to some of the gaps we saw as Stockport residents. We're passionate about creativity, activating spaces and building communities. Our little brown van came from wanting to offer something for commuters, particularly those approaching the train station on Edgeley side of Stockport, just out of reach of some of the incredible independents on the other side of the A6. Stockport truly feels the ideal place to experiment and test ideas with Hustle. Since we launched earlier this year, we've popped up in communities in Stockport and beyond, responding to events and places where people appreciate seriously good coffee and, of course, our nostalgic school cake! Capital&Centric has given us an amazing opportunity to build on what we've started with the van and help grow this new neighbourhood at Weir Mill by giving it the life and energy we all need in the morning... and that afternoon lift!"

Cllr Micheala Meikle, Stockport Council Cabinet Member for Economy, Regeneration, and Skills, said:

“It’s brilliant to see a Stockport business like Hustle grow from four wheels to four walls at Weir Mill. Our UK-leading town centre regeneration is not only creating new homes, but supporting independent businesses, new jobs, and creating more reasons for residents, visitors and workers to spend time in our town centre. Hustle will bring even more life and energy to Weir Mill as it becomes a vibrant neighbourhood for everyone to enjoy.”

Hustle joins a growing line-up of independent businesses making Weir Mill their home including Social Osteria, Bodega, Prologue, Kontrol Pilates, Rita Rays and The Jane Eyre,as the restored historic neighbourhood continues to come to life on the banks of the River Mersey.

Alongside 253 design-led rental homes, Weir Mill has been transformed into a vibrant mixed neighbourhood, with resident spaces, leafy courtyards, a riverside terrace and a growing collection of independent places to eat, drink and spend time.

For Hustle, the move marks the next chapter for a business that’s built its following on good coffee, good energy and turning up in unexpected places. Now, it’s got somewhere permanent to call home right in the middle of Weir Mill.
