October 24, 2025

Following the recent announcement of their plans to lead transformational regeneration across St Neots, St Ives and Huntingdon, social impact developer, operator and investor Capital&Centric is inviting locals to come and say hello.

The team will be hosting a series of ‘Meet the Neighbours’ events, open to everyone, offering residents, businesses and community groups the chance to find out more about the company, its ethos, and to find out what locals want to see happen. This is just the first step, and future plans will be shared at a later date.

There’s no need to RSVP, just rock up, grab a drink and bite to eat, then get chatting to the team shaping the future of Huntingdonshire’s town centres.

All the deets:

·     St Ives: Monday 3rdNovember, 5-7pm, Ivo Lounge, 9/10 Sheepmarket Street, PE27 5AH

·     Huntingdon: Tuesday 4th November, 9-11am, The Commemoration Hall,  39 High Street, PE29 3AQ

Martin Crews, Development Director at Capital&Centric, said:

“We’re buzzing to be kicking things off in Huntingdonshire. These events are an amazing opportunity to meet our new neighbours, hearing from local people about what makes their towns tick and what they’d like to see next. We’re in this for the long haul, working alongside the Council and community to deliver places with proper identity, creativity and energy. So come along, grab a drink, and let’s chat.”

Cllr Sam Wakeford - Executive Councillor for Economy, Regeneration and Housing at Huntingdonshire District Council, said:

“These events are a great opportunity for residents to share what matters most to them about their towns. This is the first step in an ongoing process to shape and refine future proposals, which will be shared and discussed with the community. Regeneration works best when it’s guided by the people who live and work here, so I encourage everyone who can to come along, have their say, and help create places we can all be proud of, now and for future generations.”

Capital&Centric, known for bold design-led regeneration projects in towns and cities across the UK, was recently appointed by Huntingdonshire District Council to lead major mixed-use regeneration in St Neots, St Ives and Huntingdon. The developer’s track record includes the restoration of historic mills, creation of new neighbourhoods, and investment in independent-led food, drink and leisure spaces, all designed to create thriving communities with a lasting social impact.
