Embassy Village is transforming land beneath Manchester’s railway arches into 40 new homes for people affected by homelessness.
What is Embassy Village?
Co-founded by Capital&Centric, Embassy is a Greater Manchester-based charity that helps people break the cycle of homelessness by providing a home, skills training and wraparound support.
Way back in 2019, we bought Embassy a former tour bus and repurposed it into short term emergency accommodation that provided support to help homeless men to get back on their feet. Embassy's approach is to reintegrate people back into society by helping them to find work and a home of their own, reducing the pressure on local councils. Through this work, Embassy build our residents’ confidence and give them the life skills to be independent.
Now, we’re taking the next step by creating Embassy Village, a new purpose built community of 40 high quality homes in Manchester's Castlefield with a village hall and green space for sports, socialising and growing plants.
